Security experts are sounding warnings of multifactor authentication “fatigue” from employees following the social engineering hack of Uber, TechCrunch reports. Uber is not the only major technology company to suffer a hack through its MFA system, however. A handful of Cloudflare employees recently fell for phishing attempts, although they were not catastrophic because the company utilizes hardware security keys employees plug into their computer after entering their login credentials. Security keys are viewed as the “gold standard of MFA security.”
