When her boss, Sam Pfeifle, charged IAPP Editor Angelique Carson, CIPP/US, with creating a privacy-focused podcast a couple years ago, she was slightly annoyed. She didn't know anything about podcasts, she didn't even listen to podcasts, and it sounded like it was going to be some weekly chore she would dread. But then things took off, and privacy pros tuned in and started conversations about episodes they'd heard, and a whole community was born. This year's podcasts focused on everything from how regulators are combating the plague that is robocalls, how advertising technology works, and why Jay Edelson is going after Kanye West for alleged privacy violations.
