Ireland's Data Protection Commission adopted a 345 million euro fine and corrective measures against TikTok over alleged EU General Data Protection Regulation violations concerning children's data protection. The enforcement action covers 2020 claims against platform settings affecting children ages 13-17. The DPC's ruling follows a binding decision from the European Data Protection Board.
