The Cabinet of Thailand will consider a draft royal decree that seeks to postpone most provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act to May 2021, the Bangkok Post reports. The PDPA was set to take force May 27. Enforcement activities under the law would be delayed under the decree, but the appointment of the Personal Data Protection Committee members and establishment of the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee will go on as planned.
