According to a study by cloud security firm Fugue, 92% of firms believe they are vulnerable to a data breach, and 84% are concerned they’ve been unknowingly hacked, MediaPost reports. Forty-seven percent spend more than 50 hours per week on cloud misconfiguration, and 76% anticipate that will increase or remain the same. For the majority, cloud misconfiguration is typically caused by a lack of awareness of security and policies, and the primary incident is unauthorized access to databases.
