A survey conducted by Capgemini found only 28% of organizations believe they are fully compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, ZDNet reports. The consultancy firm asked more than 1,000 professionals to gauge their GDPR-compliance statuses. Of those who are not aligned with the law, 38% said it was their information technology systems that held them back, while 36% said the GDPR rules are too complex to follow. "For many organisations, the true size of the GDPR challenge only became apparent as they began the initial projects to identify the applicable data that they held," Capgemini Head of Cybersecurity Practice Chris Cooper said.
