State Sen. Josh Becker, D-Calif., spoke with Digiday regarding the potential effects of California Senate Bill 362, the Delete Act, which is pending final approval by the California State Assembly. Becker said the data broker bill brings consequences for noncompliance, including "auditing ability" and "real substantial fines," while trying to "make it easy for people to move their data."
