ZDNet reports banking and insurance company State Farm has announced it's been hit by a data breach affecting an undisclosed number of accounts. A credential stuffing attack, which aims to gather account usernames and passwords, has forced the company to reset user login credentials, but noted affected accounts showed no signs of attempted fraud. While State Farm has begun alerting customers to the hack, a spokesperson said the company has "implemented additional controls and continue to evaluate our information security efforts to mitigate future attacks." Meanwhile, Naperville and Indian Prairie school districts in Illinois have announced a combined 56,100 students and staff have been affected by the recent Pearson data breach, according to the Center for Digital Education.
