The Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD, has fined IKEA en España 10,000 euros for alleged violations of Article 22(2) of the country’s law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce. IKEA en España allegedly installed cookies onto users’ devices without obtaining consent.
