The California Privacy Protection Agency released the agenda for its next public meeting Oct. 18. The meeting will begin with a closed-session discussion on remaining agency appointments before moving to the public introduction of recently appointed CPPA Executive Director Ashkan Soltani. The meeting will also include subcommittee updates on proposed topics for informational meetings on California Privacy Rights Act rulemaking and potential revisions to existing California Consumer Privacy Act rules. Editor's note: The IAPP's Joe Duball reported on Soltani's appointment with reaction from the privacy community.
