TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, is appealing the 345 million euro fine it received last month from Ireland's Data Protection Commission for alleged violations of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, Bloomberg reports. The appeal will be brought to the EU General Court. Additionally, ByteDance is challenging a DPC order to cease "deceptive or manipulative" practices that threaten user privacy in Ireland courts.
