U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation Chair Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., asked Facebook to preserve all documents related to whistleblower Frances Haugen's testimony during a hearing last week, Reuters reports. Cantwell said Haugen's testimony raised concerns and the committee "will continue its oversight and work to pursue legislation to protect consumers' privacy, improve data security, and strengthen federal enforcement to address the digital harms that are the subject of these hearings."
