The Romanian data protection authority has fined Uttis Industries SRL 2,500 euros for violations of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. An investigation by the agency found Uttis had installed video surveillance cameras, however, the company did not inform employees it was processing personal data it had captured through the devices. The DPA discovered Uttis had illegally captured the names and Personal Numerical Codes of its staff members and had placed them in a training report. (Original article is in Romanian.)
