The Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly took a look at the use of drone-delivery trials by Wing, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., and raised concerns about privacy, noise and wildlife, reports The Wall Street Journal. In a report issued last week, officials found that while the drones didn’t breach privacy laws, “existing laws may not prevent a drone from collecting high-resolution images during deliveries” and “relying on company goodwill isn’t sufficient to address the privacy concerns of nonusers.” (Registration may be required to access this story.)
