MediaPost reports social news aggregator Reddit will no longer allow users to opt out of targeted advertising. The move allows advertisers to target users based on the Reddit communities they join and leave among other targeting characteristics. Reddit Head of Privacy Jutta Williams, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, said the change will "simplify our privacy descriptions, improve ad performance, and offer new controls for the types of ads you prefer not to see."
