Montreal lawyer Andrea Grass is planning a class-action lawsuit against e-commerce site Temu amid concerns over its privacy and data protection practices, Biometric Update reports. Complaints against Temu accuse the website of tracking unnecessary consumer data including consumers' facial and voice recognition. Grass claimed the website "does not explicitly request consent for the collection of sensitive biometric data."
