A selection of California Privacy Rights Act draft regulations has arrived ahead of consideration for a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking from the California Privacy Protection Agency scheduled during its June 8 board meeting. While privacy professionals have known the draft regulations were on their way, the exact timing and substance of the first of what's expected to be two proposed rules packages still generated some surprise.
