Poland's Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, UOKIK, is opening an investigation into potential competition violations associated with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, according to U.S. News and World Report. UOKIK will explore whether ATT's efforts to limit user tracking and subsequent third-party data processing is a violation of national competition law. UOKIK President Tomasz Chrostny said the regulator will look into whether this is "a case of exclusionary abuse of market power" that "may be aimed at eliminating competitors in the market."
