In January, the U.K. Information Commissioner's Office released its proposed "Age Appropriate Design Code" aimed at protecting children's privacy online. The code, which will require parliamentary approval, outlines 15 standards online services should follow. It also provides guidance on data protection safeguards aimed at ensuring online services are appropriate for children's use.
