In response to privacy concerns over sharing of member data with news website The New Daily, pension fund AustralianSuper said member data is protected and managed according to its privacy policy, The Sydney Morning Herald reports. The Australian Information Commission is looking into the data sharing after members reported receiving a subscription to the news website via email. An AustralianSuper spokesperson said members can opt out of receiving The New Daily anytime.
