The Rochester, Minnesota–based Mayo Clinic said a former employee inappropriately accessed more than 1,600 patients’ private health information in August, KTTC reports. The medical center said patients’ names, demographic information, birthdates, medical record numbers and images may have been compromised in the breach, which it described as “limited in duration.” Meanwhile, a data breach exposed 800,000 customer records and 444,000 unique email addresses belonging to Chicago-based food delivery service Chowbus.
