In public filing documents, U.S.-based surveillance firm Palantir said privacy laws and faulty artificial intelligence are a risk to the company, Vice reports. The company said laws and regulations impacting “privacy, data protection and security, technology protection, and other matters,” like the California Consumer Privacy Act, may limit its business, and changes to these laws may cause harm. Palantir also said its use of AI, with algorithms that might contain “biased information,” could result in “reputational harm or liability.”
