The Guardian reports the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner is still working through its investigation of Cambridge Analytica. The office's investigation into the unauthorized access to 87 million Facebook accounts, 300,000 of which belonged to Australians, began more than 18 months ago. An OAIC spokesperson said the office is "actively continuing its investigation" and added "we intend to finalise the investigation this year." However, IMF Bentham Investment Manager Nathan Landis is skeptical of the OAIC's efforts on the matter. "They haven’t communicated exactly what the problem is at their end, so it’s not clear to us whether it’s a resourcing issue or what it is," Landis said.
