The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner issued its comments on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's "Digital Advertising Services Inquiry Interim Report." As the Digital Advertising Services Inquiry excludes "the operation of privacy law," the OAIC focused its comments on the key proposals in the interim report that will likely impact consumers, such as the measures to improve data portability and the implementation of common transaction IDs.
