Proposed amendments to New Zealand's Privacy Bill are before a committee of the whole House of Representatives for consideration. The proposed amendments state a request to access and correct personal information can be made by a representative of a concerned individual and that any person may make a complaint on behalf of an aggrieved individual. Proposed amendments also state when personal information is collected from children, it must be ensured that collection is fair and not intrusive.
