The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology is closing in on the first version of its Privacy Framework, and attendees at P.S.R. will get their chance to offer feedback during a breakout session with NIST officials. NIST Senior Privacy Policy Advisor Naomi Lefkovitz and Privacy Framework Deputy Manager Ellen Nadeau will offer a close look at the latest draft of the Privacy Framework. NIST initiated the development process for the framework right before last year’s P.S.R. conference in Austin, Texas. Since then, the IAPP has followed its development from each webinar and workshop. Nadeau even stopped by IAPP headquarters to chat about the NIST Privacy Framework and how it highlights workforce needs.
