In a blog post, Network Advertising Initiative President and CEO Leigh Freund discussed her take on the final regulations under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Freund acknowledged the regulations "represent thoughtful engagement with stakeholders" and are "likely to promote consumer privacy." However, Freund points out lingering issues, including the need for further clarity on both global privacy controls vendor requirements, and called expedited enforcement "impractical and unwise." Meanwhile, Consumer Reports announced the preliminary findings from its CCPA tests.
