The Wall Street Journal reports on New York becoming the latest U.S. state to consider restricting social media's ability to use algorithms to serve content to teens. Several states have tried to enact similar laws in the hopes of reducing the addictive, and sometimes mentally harmful, effect social media can have on minors. But those attempts have often been struck down on First Amendment grounds.
