The personal data of more than 160,000 patients and donors at Children’s Minnesota and more than 200,000 of Allina Health hospitals and clinics have been exposed in the second-largest health care data breach in the state’s history, the StarTribune reports. The breach was part of the ransomware attack on Blackbaud. Allina said affected data could include names, addresses and possibly medical information, while Children’s Minnesota said exposed data included patients’ names, birthdates, addresses, phone numbers, and medical and treatment details.
