Malaysia's Ministry of Communications and Multimedia announced discussions regarding amendments to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 are ongoing. Deputy Minister Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin explained potential amendments are still "in the discussion stage," noting that any decision to make changes will go right to the Cabinet of Malaysia.
