After long debate, lawmakers have reached a point of agreement on Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Bill and plan to complete discussions on the proposal during the current session. Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said discussions “will certainly produce a law that has been awaited by many parties and of course can be useful for our people and country.”
