Law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe settled its class-action lawsuit for USD8 million concerning alleged insufficient data security measures that led to a breach of personally identifiable information that affected 600,000 clients, Reuters reports. Meanwhile, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania reinstated USD3.2 million in legal fees in a previous data breach lawsuit against convenience store Wawa.
