The Italian data protection authority, the Garante, has released its annual report for 2019. The report covers the DPA's major enforcement actions, including the 1 million euro fine it administered to Facebook over Cambridge Analytica. The DPA also highlighted the fines it handed out over telemarketing violations, the number of reported data breaches it received and its work with the right to be forgotten.
