Italy's data protection authority, the Garante, issued a pair of fines for violations of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The DPA fined a hospital 80,000 euros for illegally processing the personal data of job candidates. It also issued another 60,000 euro fine to a company for accidentally leaking the information of participants of an online questionnaire.
