The Associated Press reports Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita sued Indiana University Health and IU Healthcare Associates over an alleged Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act violation concerning abortion patient privacy. The attorney general claimed a physician at the hospital violated HIPAA when publicizing the hardships an Ohio teen endured to obtain an abortion over state lines in Indiana following the reversal of Roe v.
