The All India Organization of Chemists & Druggists submitted comments to government authorities on India's draft policy of the Health Data Management Policy of the National Digital Health Mission, Express Healthcare reports. Among the AIOCD's concerns with the policy were general patient privacy issues and the need for an encryption safeguard mechanism. Additionally, AIOCD President JS Shinde said the policy "should only be done after" India's privacy legislation takes effect; otherwise, the policy has "no fruitful purpose."
