  • Bloomberg reports India's government is hoping the High Court of Delhi will rule to block WhatsApp's privacy notice update. In its filing to the court, the federal government alleges WhatsApp's changes, including insufficient language on the specifics of the company's data collection and user notification requirements, breach India’s technology laws in a number of ways. The court will hear the case April 28.
  • The Competition Commission of India ordered a review of WhatsApp's privacy policy update, saying it violates competition laws "through its exploitative and exclusionary conduct ... in the garb of policy update," Reuters reports.
