On Dec. 31, 2020, the Brexit transition period comes to an end. Unless parties can reach an agreement before the deadline, the U.K. will be considered a third country in the eyes of the European Economic Area member states. This has a number of consequences in the area of privacy, among others. IAPP Senior Westin Research Fellow Henriette "Jetty" Tielemans put together a checklist for organizations to follow as they handle data transfers before the Brexit deadline.
