On the 12 April edition of The New York Times' "Hard Fork" podcast, IAPP President and CEO J. Trevor Hughes, CIPP, spoke about the introduction of the American Privacy Rights Act, starting at the 28-minute mark. Hughes discussed the key provisions in the new comprehensive U.S. federal privacy law proposal. Additionally, the podcast touched on the sources of training data beginning to dry up for developers of artificial intelligence systems.
