It's no secret that privacy regulations in the U.S. are on the rise. There are 15 states with some form of existing or proposed regulations related to data privacy. What remains to be seen is how organizations plan to tackle the development of privacy programs that meet compliance requirements for each state regulation and global laws, in some cases, that their data falls under.
