The House of Commons Standing Committee on Industry and Technology decided to study Bill C-27, the Digital Charter Implementation Act, in the fall, The Hill Times reports. The bill was referred to the committee in April, but it has not met to study the proposal that contains three separate pieces of legislation: the Consumer Privacy Protection Act, the Personal Information and Data Protection Tribunal Act, and the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act.
