Hong Kong's Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data published its 2021-22 Annual Report. The report reflects the passage and implementation of the Personal Data (Privacy) Amendment Ordinance in 2021 and other key highlights including the ethical development and use of artificial intelligence and guidance related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data Ada Chung said the year was "hectic yet eventful" with "a wide array of developments in the privacy protection landscape both locally and globally."
