  • The Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision issued fresh guidance on facilitating cross-border data transfers. The regulator said the guidance "derives information for the administrative practice of Bavarian public authorities" while considering legal developments like the Court of Justice of the European Union's invalidation of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield.
  • Belgium's data protection authority, the APD, ruled transfers of generalized taxpayer data by the Belgian Federal Public Service Finance to U.S. tax authorities violate the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
