CNBC reports Meta's Facebook reached a $725 million settlement, pending court approval, over a class-action privacy lawsuit related to 2018 Cambridge Analytica claims. Plaintiffs' law firm Keller Rohrback said the proposed settlement is the "largest recovery ever achieved in a data privacy class action." A Meta spokesperson said resolution by settlement was "in the best interest of our community and shareholders" while indicating Facebook "revamped" its privacy practices over the last three years and "implemented a comprehensive privacy program."
