Facebook announced the company’s Transparency Report will now include a Community Standards Enforcement Report in a move intended to add transparency to its enforcement efforts in the areas of graphic violence, sensitive adult content, terrorist propaganda, hate speech, and spam and fake accounts. The company also launched a Youth Portal, with sections devoted to guiding principles and privacy, to act as a guide for teens. Meanwhile, Reuters reports that a British Parliamentary committee has still not received satisfactory answers to 39 questions asked concerning data privacy and "fake news," and CBS News confirmed that the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating Cambridge Analytica. European Parliament President Antonio Tajani announced Wednesday that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has accepted the governing body's invitation to meet with Parliamentary leaders and the Committee for Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
