To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the first draft of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the European Data Protection Supervisor will host a conference in Brussels June 16 and 17. Attendees at the conference, titled "The Future of Data Protection: Effective enforcement in the digital world," will brainstorm how the GDPR functions and its efficiency four years after it was passed. The goal of the conference is for global stakeholders to connect and discuss current strategies for enforcement.
