The European Data Protection Supervisor published its opinion on the Trade and Cooperation Agreement and the agreement on security procedures for exchanging and protecting classified information between the EU and U.K. The EDPS welcomed the agreements as it expects the two sides to continue working together going forward; however, it also noted the TCA did not properly address the EU's "horizontal provisions for cross-border data flows and for personal data protection."
