The California Privacy Protection Agency launched a 15-day comment period on the modified California Privacy Rights Act draft regulations. The period will run through Nov. 21. The initiation of the public consultation follows the CPPA Board's formal approval of modified draft regulations Oct. 29, where board members indicated final regulations will potentially be in place before the end of the year. The final rules filing to Office of Administrative Law will include a Final Statement of Reasons and responses to all public comments.
