According to Husch Blackwell's "Byte Back," the Colorado Senate passed Senate Bill 190, the Colorado Privacy Act, by a unanimous 35-0 vote. The bill was passed on during five consecutive floor sessions before an amended version of the bill was adopted and advanced for House consideration. The amended bill includes strengthened provisions on "dark patterns," a broadened definition of "sale," a privacy control opt-out and a right to cure.
