France’s data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, invites researchers to submit academic publications and research projects on privacy and data protection for its international Privacy Research Day 2023 conference. Suggested topics include effectiveness of data protection rights, new digital identities, data in artificial intelligence, data portability, protecting anonymity online and the rise of privacy-enhancing technologies. The submission period is open until March 17 and the conference takes place June 14 in Paris.
